Active shooter situations are unpredictable, often occur without warning, and evolve quickly. Because active shooter situations are often over before law enforcement arrives on the scene, individuals must be prepared both mentally and physically to deal with the situation.

DPS offers monthly Active Shooter Awareness & Response Training which is recommended for all students, faculty and staff. Register for an upcoming session if not done so already.
